United Day Nursery

Children ages 4 weeks to 12 years old are able to come to United Day Nursery.

We are open from 6:45 am to 6:00 pm Monday - Friday. We are not open on weekends.

Each age range has different ratios! They are as follows as determined by Childcare Aware of North Dakota:

Infants (0-24 months) 1:4

Toddlers (2-3 years) 1:5

3 year olds 1:7

4 year olds 1:10

5 year olds 1:12

6-12 year olds 1:20

Each staff member has to pass a background check before they are officially hired, and are CPR and First Aid certified within 3 months of employment.

At United Day Nursery, we use an app called Brightwheel that all parents and staff can download. This app allows parents to receive updates on what their child is doing. This includes meals, bathroom breaks, pictures, and learning activities. Parents and staff can also communicate throughout the day using Brightwheel as well.

At United Day Nursery we use a comprehensive, research-based early childhood education program for children from infancy through kindergarten called Teaching Strategies. This curriculum emphasizes learning through play, hands-on exploration, and developmentally appropriate practices. It supports the whole child by focusing on social-emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development. A key feature is its project-based approach, where children explore real-world topics through in-depth “studies” like pets, trees, or buildings.
